Call for Papers: Democracies in the Post-Digital World

This special issue explores how democracy is transforming in the post-digital age, where digital technologies, algorithms, and AI are deeply embedded in everyday life. It examines how democratic practices are lived, contested, and reimagined across cultural, social, and political contexts, with particular attention to grassroots mobilization, media, arts, and digital activism. We welcome interdisciplinary contributions that critically reflect on the opportunities and challenges for democracy in Europe and beyond.
