Democracy in Practice: a Cultural Gathering

From 19 to 22 September, Fondazione Santagata will hosted a workshop of the Democracy in Action project, titled “Democracy in Practice: a cultural gathering” in Turin.The event brought together institutions, researchers, and cultural organisations to explore the intersections of youth, culture, and civic participation.The workshop included cultural operators from Turkey, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Cyprus, fostering exchanges on active participation and citizenship practices, with a special focus on youth engagement. Participants took part in expert discussions, local case studies, and field visits to gain practical insights into democratic participation across different contexts.
